When you order one of my wooden kitchen accessories I will carve it from a hardwood branch. All of the wooden spoons, spatulas, spreaders, pie servers, salad servers, and other wooden utensils pictured were carved from small branches gathered in the Northwestern United States, most from my own woodlot on Maury Island in Puget Sound. Although the form of these wooden kitchen accessories always follows their function, the shape, grain, and figures of the wood also help determine the look of my handcrafted wooden utensils. |
