These wooden scoops are hand carved. Each one is unique, with its bark handle and distinctive grain. They are perfect for flour, sugar, beans or rice. A six-inch scoop will hold around one third of a cup of flour. Fashioned from downed limbs and prunings, each has its own distinctive grain and color. Each scoop comes with a hard, nontoxic finish and is intended for use in dry ingredients such as flour, rice, or sugar. I do not recommend washing your scoop, as it will damage this finish. If you must clean it, just a quick rinse under warm running water and wipe with a paper towel should suffice. |
