For the most part, I carve these hairpins from durable and naturally colorful plantation grown hardwoods from latin America. Others I make from hardwood branchesI have myself found or gathered in forests and orchards of the Northwestern U.S. In addition I craft some of my hairpins from DymondWood®, a pressure treated hardwood/resin laminate, brightly tinted to coordinate with any of your favorite outfis.

These special wooden haipins will securely hold your hair in many of your favorite hairstyles, such as the french roll, the bun, and the chignon.
